The rare and scarce Pikmi Pops by Moose Toys no may become even more so as people realize that these toys have been nominated for Toy of the Year awards in multiple categories. They will be up against stiff competition in both the Collectibles of the Year and Plush Toy of the Year categories, and we expect them to walk away with at least one this year.

Moose Toys does a great job with making the next hot collectible and Pikmi Pops are no different as all of the kids in the family are clamoring for them. You can read the full press release below and congratulations to Moose Toys.

Moose Toys has created yet another collectible phenomenon with the launch of Pikmi Pops. The brand new, sweet, collectible plush has been a sell-out in retailers around the country. Now, customers are searching high and low to stock up on the lolly pop shaped vessels full of surprises in time for the holidays!

Pikmi Pops was the only toy to be nominated in two categories in this year’s Toy of the Year awards announced November 3, 2017 at Play Fair in New York City. Revered as “The Oscars” for toys, Pikmi Pops was unveiled as a finalist in both the Collectible of the Year category and the Plush Toy of the Year category.

“Pikmi Pops have won the hearts of children all ages! We pride ourselves on creating new ways for kids to collect and play and for Pikmi Pops to be recognized in two categories is testament to the innovation and freshness the Pikmi brand offers,” said Paul Solomon, Co-CEO of Moose Toys.

While Pikmi Pops dominated this years list of finalists, Moose also has products recognized in three other categories:

• Games of the Year – Boom Blast Stix
• Playset of the Year – Shopkins Super Mall
• Creative Toy of the Year – Oonies

“It is fantastic to see, that while we are famous for our collectibles, as our portfolio continues to grow, so does our success,” Paul added.
The winners will be announced at New York Toy Fair in February 2018.
